Amfa is a type of language proficiency test that evaluates the level of ability of the examiner in the four main skills of the Persian language (reading, writing, speaking, understanding) regardless of the examiner(s) educational background.
This exam is held in two types "general" and "university". The holding of the university fair as a criterion for accepting foreign candidates to study in Iranian universities is the responsibility of the country(s) education assessment organization, and the holding of the public fair for other purposes and functions is the responsibility of the Saadi Foundation.
